It was a priviledge and honor to have grown up with the Kopp family, to have Krista in my class from second grade on, and to interrelate to Mr. Kopp as Krista's dad and as a school board member. Mr.Kopp served 5 terms on the board, three of those with my dad, and did much to shape how the district functioned. He contributed greatly to the QUALITY of the district. He served many of his years as Vice President of the board. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Kopp, Kevin, Linda, and Krista. Mr. Kopp was a very special person to me.

Dave was a wonderful human being and I am proud to have known him through our church. I love WWII history and airplanes like Dave. We had many discussions about whether the B-17 or the B-29 was the best allied Bomber in WWII. I told him once that the P-51 Mustang was America’s greatest fighter aircraft to which he took exception and we debated the P-51 vs. the F4U Corsair for quite some time. We will all miss this kind and gentle man - Rest In Peace Dave...
