He was an Industrial Arts teacher in the Fairport School District for 33 years where he inspired the lives of many students. He would often see students that he had in school and sincerely loved hearing the stories of what they were doing today. Don enjoyed his model trains, woodworking, reading and especially sharing his time and his passions with family and friends. He was an incredibly kind, patient, and loving man that enjoyed helping others and was always teaching. He continued to enjoy learning as much as he could in retirement and always took an interest in other people’s hobbies. Don had a beautiful gift for touching people’s lives with his kindness, thoughtfulness, and love. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and many more. The family will be having a private ceremony to celebrate the life of Don.
