Corky was my first "boss" the first time I worked at Crosman's. I was 18, and we worked the old printer together. We became fast friends. I didn't work at the factory again for many years (a couple of decades), but Corky was always up to speed on the goings on of our lives. Attending my wedding showers, our wedding, and visiting me in the hospital when I had our children. Always happy to see me and our growing family. In 2013 I started working full time at Crosman's with the rest of the family. Corky became my coworker full time. We had a most marvelous time whenever she came up to the office to help me pack seeds. Always laughing, talking about family. She always was interested in what the children were up to, and I was interested in what her grandchildren (and great grandchildren!) were up to. We bonded a lot during the few years before she retired. During this time I became a Reiki Master, learning a lot of new spiritual ways and thoughts. She was my first Reiki customer! At 88 years old, she said, "Sure! I'll give it a try!" And I just adored her energy, her spirit and her love of learning. It was a very special moment for me, and I will carry it in my heart forever. Whenever any of us think of Corky at work, it is always with a smile, a laugh, a terrific saying of hers and definitely with love. She is a special being to be sure, and I am honored to have shared some of her marvelous life with her.

Our Aunt Corky was always one of our "other mothers": hostess, babysitter, sometime-referee. She will always live on through her beautiful family and in our memories.
