Obituary of Maureen Lynch-Bennett

Maureen Lynch-Bennett age 77 of Fairport NY passed away peacefully on June 23rd 2026 with her family by her side.  Maureen is predeceased by her husband, Allen E. Bennett: sister, Barbara O'Connell and two nieces, Bridget O'Connell Magar and Katherine Magar. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen (Bob) Eddy; brother-in-law, David O'Connell; step son, Andrew Bennett; nephews, Kevin (Kirstin) O'Connell, David and Gregory (Ashley) Eddy; several great nieces and great nephews.

Maureen received her Master's Degree from Syracuse University and retired as a Speech Pathologist with the Rochester City School District.  She, like her husband, loved nature.  She enjoyed going to lunches with her girlfriends and was very active in Dress a Girl Ministry.  

Maureen's burial will take place in White Haven Memorial Park on Thursday, June 25th at 1:30pm. Anyone attending is asked to gather at the cemetery entrance by 1:25pm. Following her burial, visitation will take place in the All Season's Chapel Gathering Room beginning at 2:00pm. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome to do so even if you are not able to attend her burial.
