Obituary of Beatrice Jean Ruebens

Beatrice Jean Ruebens (Tougher) passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 101 years.  Jean is predeceased by her husband, Neil, her brothers, John, Donald and Robert, and her sister, Georgina. 

Jean is survived by her children, John Montcrieff (Lynne), Sharon Stacklyn (David), and Peter Ruebens (Mary); grandchildren, Jon Montcrieff, April Montcrieff and Danielle Vail, and great grandchildren, Ava, Austin, Ameilia, Addison and Rylie. 

Jean was a woman who had a lifetime love of sewing, knitting, crafting and baking.  Her door was always open to family and friends to come in for a visit, a meal, a bed and a cup of tea.  She will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 

Family and friends are invited to join the family to celebrate her life on Thursday, April 30 from 4-7 pm. at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington Street, East Rochester, NY.  Her Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 1, 1:30 p.m., All Season's Chapel, White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY.
